Claude-Étienne Armingaud is a Partner at Latournerie Wolfrom Avocats (LWA), in Paris, where he leads the Technology Law, Data & Intellectual Property practice. He is a member of the Paris and New York Bars, and holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification from the IAPP.
With over 20 years of experience, including several years at a leading international firm (K&L Gates), he advises clients ranging from start-ups to multinational groups, in both advisory and contentious matters, across the full spectrum of European digital regulations and intellectual property issues.
His dual training in French civil law and American common law gives him a cross-cultural approach suited to the needs of European and American companies operating on both sides of the Atlantic.
His sensitivity to technological issues is nurtured by his activities in photography, music production and computing, which give him a practical understanding of the digital challenges facing his clients.
