SUMMARY:Breakfast on ICO’s Regulatory environment in France and the EU
DESCRIPTION:ICOs have probably been the biggest disrupter of venture capital over the past year. As such\, it is no surprise that regulators are trying to assess this new trend\, in order to secure potential investors from what may be perceived as the new digital Wild West. \nFrance’s market regulator\, the AMF\, launched a consultation in December 2017 to gather the inputs from all players – from institutional investors to up-and-coming startups. While it is still uncertain how the regulatory landscape will evolve and how it will be influenced by the self-proclaimed “start up nation” ambitions\, we will present in a keynote the possible outcomes of the consultations relating to EU Member State trends. \nWe hope you can make it to this event and feel free to spread the word.
